Hague Apostille
Validity of the Brazilian document in Apostille Convention countries, without consular legalization.
- Certificates and deeds
- Diplomas and transcripts
- Powers of attorney and company documents
Brazilian documents, handled with chancery rigor.
Civil registry certificates, family and citizenship documents, transcriptions, Hague Apostille and sworn translation, handled by a specialist in Brazilian public records. You place a single request and receive the document ready to use, in Brazil or in the country where you live.
A private document services company. Not a consulate, embassy, government agency or registry office.
Civil registry, family and nationality
Citizenship, marriage, inheritance, children born abroad. Family documents demand the most care, and that is where we start.
A surname spelled differently, a mismatched date or a record made abroad that never reached Brazil is enough to stall a citizenship application or an estate settlement.
Before issuing anything, we check what the receiving authority will require and point out what needs correcting. That way the document comes out right the first time.
Discuss my caseBirth, marriage and death certificates, short form or full content, from any registry office in Brazil.
Ancestors’ certificates, searches for old records and the complete set for Portuguese, Italian and other citizenships.
Correction of names, dates and spellings that differ between generations, directly at the registry office when the law allows.
Births, marriages and deaths that took place abroad registered in Brazil, including children of Brazilians.
Documents, certificates and annotations related to naturalization, so that the civil registry reflects your nationality.
Recording of divorces granted abroad and documents for estates with heirs living abroad.

Consulado Postal is a project by Exjud, dedicated to out-of-court solutions involving registry offices, public records and documents. The team brings together specialists in notarial and registry law, including experience on the boards that select Brazil’s notaries and registrars.
That knowledge guides every request: choosing the right registry office, checking what the destination country requires and carefully reading each certificate before it reaches you.
How it works
No government forms, no queues and no need to understand Brazilian registries.
Understand
The step that raises the most questions for anyone using a Brazilian document in another country.
The apostille is a certificate attached to a Brazilian public document that makes it valid in the countries of the Apostille Convention, signed in The Hague in 1961. It replaces the old consular legalization.
Brazil has applied the convention since 2016, and the apostille is issued by Brazilian registry offices. The convention covers more than 120 countries, including Portugal, Spain, Italy, the United States and Japan.
The document goes through consular legalization. We point out the path and take care of what can be done in Brazil.
Who it is for
People, families and companies that rely on public documents on both sides of the border.

No need to travel to Brazil. We request the certificate from the registry office where the birth was recorded, short form or full content, and send you the digital file or the paper document. Just give us the full name, date of birth, parents’ names and, if you know it, the registry office.
Usually the full-content birth, marriage and death certificates of the family line, with the Hague Apostille and, for Italy, a sworn translation into Italian. We check the list required by the consulate or registry before issuing anything, to avoid rework.
Tell us which document you need and we take care of the apostille at a registry office in Brazil. Certificates issued electronically can also receive an electronic apostille, so the file reaches you without any shipping.
It is issued by the registry office or competent authority itself, and you receive the receipts for each step. Electronic certificates and apostilles carry a verification code you can check with the issuer.
